About St. Marie Magdalen Postel

St. Marie lived during the French Revolution. She gave refuge to fugitive priests in her own home during this violent time with no regard for her own safety. Saint Marie truly lived a Christian life, loving her neighbor as herself and willing to give up her life for others.

After the French Revolution, St. Marie Magdalen founded the Sisters of Christian Schools of Mercy which eventually housed 150 teachers.
