St. John Bosco Patron
Saint
St. John Bosco was born on August 16, 1815 and died
on January 31, 1888. He is also known as Giovanni Melchiorre
Bosco or Don Bosco. St. John Bosco was a priest and
a teacher who founded the Salesian Society which houses
needy and abandoned children.
St. John Bosco is the patron saint of a variety of causes:

* Christian apprentices
* Editors
* Publishers
* School children
* Young people
Prayers to St. John Bosco
The following St. John Bosco prayers are often recited
by Catholics who have St. John Bosco as their patron.
They also wear a St. John Bosco medal or a St. John
Bosco medallion, praying for the intercession of their
patron for the faith and mercy he exhibited to those
in need.

Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary
Help of Christians, and who always had compassion for
those who were suffering, obtain from Jesus and His
Heavenly Mother the grace I now request, and also a

Pray the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have
recourse to you. You are all fair, O Virgin Mary; you
never knew the stain of sin; You are the glory of Jerusalem,
you are the joy of Israel.
You are the great honor of our people, you are the advocate
of sinners. O Mary, Virgin most prudent, O Mary, Mother
most merciful, pray for us, Intercede for us with our
Lord, Jesus
