The Infinite Love of
the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Pope Leo XIII reigned as Pope of the Catholic Church
from 1878 to 1903. He said of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
"There is in the Sacred Heart the symbol and express
image of the infinite love of Jesus Christ which moves
us to love in return." Devotion to the Sacred Heart
of Jesus is venerating Jesus Himself, for his heart
so loved all His people that He suffered and died for
them. The love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is infinite.
It never dies but lives on, ready to welcome all the
followers of His word into eternal life with Him.
