Joyful Mystery of the RosaryIn
the Joyful Mystery of the rosary we see the love Mary has for her Child; we
get to experience with her, the wonders of pregnancy, birth and a little of
the raising of the most holy Child, Jesus. The Joyful Mystery of the rosary
are an intimate glimpse into Mary¹s life, a time to join her in her miraculous
motherhood. The first of the Joyful Mystery of the rosary is the Annunciation,
where Mary first hears from an angel that she will become pregnant with the
Son of God. We are with her as she says yes for all of humanity. The second
of the Joyful Mystery of the rosary is the Visitation. Here, saint Elizabeth
recognizes Jesus within Mary as her own child leaps with joy within her. We
join in their joy as we realize the Gift that is yet to come. The third of
the Joyful Mystery of the rosary is the Nativity: Jesus is born! We unite
with the shepherds, the angels and the Magi in adoration of the Child, in
thankfulness for His birth. The fourth of the Joyful Mystery of the rosary
is the Presentation when Jesus is circumcised into the Jewish faith and St.
Simeon proclaims Him the Messiah. Along with St. Simeon, we accept Jesus as
our Savior and promise to follow Him always. The fifth and final of the Joyful
Mystery of the rosary is the Finding of Jesus in the Temple. Any of us who
have lost our faith and then found it will jubilate with Mary and Joseph as
they find Jesus after days of searching. The Joyful Mystery of the rosary
are a time to celebrate as we pray. Jesus is come to us and we shine with
the anticipation of His teachings and His glory. |
