There are two types of clover pendants for good luck. One is the shamrock pendant and the other is the four leaf clover pendant. The two clover pendants are often given as gifts for all occasions since they carry the hope of good luck. They are also given as St. Patrick’s Day gifts, gifts for religious occasions, and gifts to someone with an Irish heritage.
When giving a clover leaf pendant as a gift, put a smile on the face of that special friend or relative with one of these little Irish and Good Luck clover poems:

There's a dear little plant that grows in our isle, 'Twas St Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun on his labor with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It thrives through the bog, through the brake, and the mireland; And he called it the dear little shamrock of Ireland... ~Andrew Cherry
Four Leaf Clover Sayings
A best friend is like a four leaf clover: hard to find and lucky to have. ~Author Unknown
If you hold a four-leaf shamrock in your left hand at dawn on St. Patrick's Day you get what you want very much but haven't wished for. ~Patricia Lynch

No need explaining the one remaining Is somebody I adore. I'm looking over a four leaf clover That I over-looked before!
