Angels Are with Us Wherever We Go

Every day, many people attribute angels for saving their lives, whether they are in an accident, recovering from surgery, or are miraculously cured from a disease. Angels are believed to help people when they are in dire need. People are comforted at the thought of having a Guardian Angel at their side, watching over them and protecting them from danger.

The belief in angels is evident everywhere in today's world:

" A mother pins an angel pin on her children as they go off to school, hoping an angel will take care of her children as they go about their busy day.

" A business man wears an angel lapel pin as he commutes to work, praying for a successful day and a safe return back home.

" A teacher pins a cherub brooch on her blouse as she enters her classroom, asking her angel to help her instruct the children in her class to be not only good students, but good people.

" A child opens a gift box containing an angel pin as a First Communion gift. The angel will always be pinned close to the child's heart for peace and safety in life.
These are just a few of the examples of the belief people have in angels, the spiritual beings created by God to make life a little easier.

An Angel Prayer Asking for Guidance

My good Angel, Thou comest from heaven; God has sent thee to take care of me. Oh, shelter me under thy wings. Lighten my path, direct my steps. Do not leave me, stay quite near me and defend me against the spirit of evil. But above all come to my help in the last struggle of my life. Deliver my soul so that with thee it may praise, love and contemplate the goodness of God forever and ever. Amen.
